About UNIVERSITY HUB PRO
A theme you configure, not one you build
This is the first thing to know about University Hub Pro, because it marks the whole difference from almost every education theme on the market: it does not run on Elementor or any visual builder. It is configured from the WordPress customiser, ordering sections and choosing options, with live preview.
For plenty of people that is a drawback. For plenty of others it is exactly what they are after.
What that means in practice
The homepage is composed by choosing among seven sections and ordering them: featured, courses, faculty, news, testimonials and the rest. You adjust colour, typography, layout and logo, and that is it. There is no blank canvas and no blocks to drag.
The advantages are real: the site loads lighter, it does not depend on a third-party builder, there are no shortcodes embedded in the content, and whoever updates it cannot break the design by dragging a box somewhere it does not belong. At an educational institution, where the site ends up maintained by somebody in the office, that last part is worth a good deal.
So is the limitation: if you want a page that does not fit the sections provided, there is no way to build it without installing a builder separately, and then you lose the coherence.
What it brings

- WooCommerce compatible without requiring it, in case the institution sells materials or enrolments.
Who it suits and who it does not
It fits schools, colleges, academies and training centres needing a clear institutional site, fast and easy to maintain, that they are not going to redesign every season.
It does not fit if you need a learning platform with students and grades, which is a different category of product, nor if you want total layout freedom. For that there are education themes with Elementor and a built-in learning system.
