About Voodioo – Videographer Responsive WordPress theme WordPress Theme
For the filmmaker who sells a point of view, not for anyone who needs a video store
Showing your video work on a generic website often ends up as a grid of thumbnails with no context: the client sees images, but has no idea who is behind the camera. Voodioo is designed for videographers and freelance filmmakers that want to present their work and tell their story.
It fits if you work on commission (weddings, advertising, short films, branded content) and your website needs to end in an inquiry. It is not for you if you want to sell videos or courses, manage bookings or build a streaming platform: Voodioo is not a store, a booking system or a video hosting service. The usual approach is to host videos on an external service and link or embed them, so check in the demo how they are displayed before deciding.
Your About page matters more than your showreel
Whoever hires a videographer is hiring a specific point of view, and that is explained with a biography, not with a nice shot. That is why Voodioo includes three About page variants (corporate, modern and personal), plus a team page and individual profiles for each member.
The demo illustrates this with the story of an independent filmmaker, her background and her way of working. Take it as a model for tone: tell how you film, not just what you film. The testimonial blocks, both the static element and the dynamic module, let you place client opinions next to that story.
How your films and your news are organized
The demo presents a section of featured films with a title, a category and a read more button, and the theme includes a portfolio area to organize your work. If you publish making-ofs, interviews or articles, the blog supports several layouts:
- Classic, modern and listing.
- Grid, masonry and justified.
- Post formats: standard, image, gallery, quote, link, video and audio.
- Sidebar on the left, on the right or none.
The video and audio formats are useful if you tell your process with multimedia pieces, not just text.
Seven headers, three footers and pieces to build pages
Voodioo offers seven header styles and three footer styles, so you can decide how much prominence the menu gets compared to your work. To build pages it includes static and dynamic elements:
- Static: accordion, tabs, buttons, calls to action, counters, countdown timer, contact forms, maps, pricing tables, sliders and social sharing buttons.
- Dynamic: brands, carousel, posts, team and testimonials modules.
The auxiliary pages include FAQs, pricing, clients and partners, contact in two variants, 404 error, search results, maintenance and coming soon. The last one is handy if you are preparing your website launch while finishing a project.
The addresses, phone numbers and texts in the demo are samples: you will need to replace them with your own, including the featured films.
Questions before choosing Voodioo
Can I sell my videos or accept bookings?
Not out of the box. It is a theme for presenting services and a portfolio. To charge or take bookings you would have to add other tools yourself.
Does it host my videos?
No. Host them on a video platform and show them on your website. Check in the demo how videos are integrated and whether the format you use fits.
Does it work for a studio with several people?
Yes: it includes a team page, a profile for each member, testimonial and brand modules and a clients and partners page.
Does it adapt to mobile phones?
Open the demo on your phone and check that your videos look the way you expect.
