In child therapy, your page is usually read by a worried mother, father or guardian who needs to know whether you work with children that age and how to ask for a first appointment. Couples therapy is similar: one person writes, and before booking has to convince the other.

A psychology practice speaks to several readers at once, and each arrives with a different question. Wellmont, by Mikado-Themes, builds that separation into its home pages: one for child therapy, one for couples, and others for psychology and counseling. Choosing a home page means deciding who you speak to first.

Six home pages for different audiences

• Child Therapy: programs for the youngest, adolescent psychology, neurofeedback testing and family problems, plus a schedule of workshops.
• Couples Therapy: a block explaining how therapy works (duration, communication and results), relationship services and a professional team.
• Main Home: a slider with appointment buttons, recent articles, logos, services, testimonials and Instagram.

The calendar runs on a separate plugin

The theme's calendar and appointment blocks need Booked, a booking plugin that must be installed and active. Without it, the appointment buttons do not give you a calendar on their own. The package includes Slider Revolution and a child theme, but Booked comes separately.

Its features do not include video calls or clinical records. If you hold online sessions or store patient data, that part lives outside the theme. And much of the demo text is placeholder: testimonials and service descriptions have to be written from scratch.

An installation order that avoids repeated work

The theme requires two plugins of its own: Qode Framework, installed first, and Wellmont Core, which provides the content types. Without the latter you cannot create the elements that depend on it. The System Info panel shows in red whatever your server does not meet.

1. Install and activate the theme, then Qode Framework and Wellmont Core.
2. Review System Info and fix whatever appears in red.
3. Install WooCommerce and Contact Form 7 before importing, if you will use a shop or forms.
4. Import the demo. If the screen goes white, raise the server's maximum execution time to 120 seconds.
5. Install Booked and place the calendar on Appointments.

Can I take bookings with just the theme installed?

You need to add Booked. The theme provides the blocks that display the calendar and appointments.

Which builder is it edited with?

It is compatible with Elementor and also with WPBakery.

Does it work if I practice alone?

Yes. The demo has an About Me page and an individual professional profile, so you do not need to build a team page.

Can I sell books or courses?

It is compatible with WooCommerce for selling products, and the demo uses a sample product called Cognitive Behaviour. Courses with lessons are not among its features.

Can it be translated?

Yes. It is translation ready and compatible with WPML.

Does it show Instagram?

Yes, with a shortcode and a widget where you choose the number of photos and columns.
