About WooCommerce Checkout Upsell Funnel Premium

A customer who reaches the checkout page has already decided to buy, and that is the moment when you least want to bother them. That is why last-minute offers usually fail in two ways: they appear too early and distract, or so late that nobody sees them. This plugin places them right at checkout, in two formats: a funnel that appears when the customer clicks «Place Order» and order bumps inside the checkout itself.

From the «Place Order» click to the accepted offer

Picture a coffee shop that sells coffee machines. This is how the journey would work:

  • Step 1, you choose what to offer. You select the products you want to suggest (from several product types in your store) and apply a discount, with the type and amount you decide. For example, a pack of filters or coffee beans at a reduced price for someone buying a coffee machine.
  • Step 2, you decide where it shows. It can appear in a pop-up, as a list inside the checkout page itself, or by redirecting to an order suggestion page. You can also choose which days of the week it is displayed.
  • Step 3, you filter who sees it. By product (price, included or excluded products or categories, visibility), by cart (total, items, applied coupon, billing or shipping address) and by customer (daily limit, logged-in users only, included or excluded roles or specific users). That way you do not offer a 10 accessory to someone with a 500 order, or repeat it to someone who has already seen it today.
  • Step 4, the customer accepts or not. If they accept, the product is added to the order they were already going to pay for. The offer does not interrupt the checkout process.
  • Step 5, you look at what happened. The reports separate what was sold through the funnel and through the order bumps.

One limit worth being clear about: the plugin suggests and discounts, but it does not decide for you. If you choose the wrong products or discount, the offer will be ignored like any other banner.

Order bumps: the offer that is already in the form

You can create as many as you want, each with its own discount, cart and customer conditions, and you can design the background, title, messages, content and images. It works best for small, obvious things (a case, an extended warranty, an add-on), while the funnel suits offers with more weight.

Countdown timer and your own style on the WooCommerce checkout

You can create and design a countdown timer inside the funnel, to add a sense of urgency to the decision. Use it honestly: if the offer is still available when the clock runs out, the customer will notice. The design supports options for layout, content, title, product list and icons, shortcodes to customize texts and messages, and your own CSS if you want to adapt the look to your theme.

What the reports in Checkout Upsell Funnel Premium measure

The reports show the weight of funnel and order bump sales over the total, and which products sell best through those channels. They can be filtered by order status, dates or month. They help you know whether an offer is worth keeping or changing, but they are not a general analytics tool for the store.
