About WooCommerce JadLog – Quote, Label and Delivery Tracking

The shipping you charge is rarely the shipping you pay

If you sell with shipping in Brazil, you have a contract with the carrier and a checkout price that doesn't always match it. Charging too much scares buyers off; charging too little eats your margin without you noticing. And after payment comes what steals the most time: copying addresses into the portal, preparing labels one by one and answering "where is my order?" by hand.

WooCommerce JadLog connects the store to the JadLog API using your CNPJ, your account and your contract. The value the customer sees is the one JadLog returns plus the fees you define, with no middleman.

An order with WooCommerce JadLog, from cart to "delivered"

1. The customer gets a quote at checkout

The quote comes with your contract price and shows the lead time as "Delivery in up to X business days". You can add extra days to that lead time and apply a handling fee, fixed or as a percentage, different for each service. Here is the first requirement: you need a JadLog contract (webservice token, CNPJ and checking account) and the weight loaded on your products.

2. Choosing a Pickup point

If you enable Pickup, the customer sees up to three pickup points near their postal code and picks one. The point is saved in the order and printed on the label, so you don't have to ask them anything afterwards.

3. You request the label and print the day's labels

From the order you request the label from JadLog with one click. To print them, you select the orders in the list and use the "Print JadLog labels" action: you get a single PDF with logo, recipient, sender and barcode, six per A4 sheet or one per 10×15 adhesive label. If you selected an order whose label you haven't requested yet, the plugin warns you that it was left out. For this to work you also need to enter the sender's address and document, and decide whether you drop the parcels off at the unit or request a pickup.

4. The customer follows the shipment without writing to you

When you add the tracking code, the customer receives an email. Then they receive another one with each status change at JadLog, with date, place and status. When JadLog records the delivery, the order moves to the status you chose.

Questions from stores that already have a JadLog contract

Is it useful if I don't have my own contract?

No. Quotes and labels depend on your JadLog credentials (token, CNPJ and checking account). Without them the plugin has nowhere to get prices from.

Is the quote calculated with my rate or a generic one?

With yours: the request goes straight to JadLog with your contract data and shows the returned value plus your fees.

How often is tracking updated?

Status checks run every 4 hours, so the emails to the customer are not instant.

Can I print on a thermal printer?

You can choose between A4 and the 10×15 adhesive label.

Ten services and settings for each one

  • Services: Package, Expresso, Rodoviário, Econômico, Doc, Corporate, .Com, Cargo, Emergencial and Pickup.
  • Lead time: adds the extra days you define.
  • Handling fees: fixed value or percentage, independent for each service.
  • Tracking emails: one when the code is added and another for each update, with the latest movements.

WooCommerce JadLog only talks to JadLog

It is an integration with a single carrier: if you offer several, it does not replace your other shipping methods. It also does not show a shipping estimate on the product page: its ground is checkout, labels and tracking. Before buying, check that your products have weight and that your contract covers the services you want to offer.
