About Wp Ultimate Pdf Generator
Some content on your site isn't meant to be read now, but saved: a guide, a product sheet, a long article. If people can't download it, they forget it or have to search for it again. This plugin adds that download button to your posts, pages, products and custom post types.
A real case: the product sheet a customer wants to show a business partner
Picture a shop selling technical products. The buyer doesn't decide alone: they have to pass the sheet to someone else. Without a PDF, they copy the link and hope the other person opens it. With Wp Ultimate Pdf Generator, the journey changes step by step.
- Step 1, the visitor clicks the export button on the product or article page. They download the PDF or share it outside your site.
- Step 2, you decide what shows. You get 3 default templates to display posts and products in different formats, and you can customize them.
- Step 3, the PDF carries your brand. In the header you can add a logo, site name, description and URL, with your own typeface. It also supports a text or image watermark.
- Step 4, the cover page. You can add a cover page with your name and logo, adjusting size and margins. There are 4 cover page templates designed for different industries.
One limit to keep in mind: the plugin generates a PDF of what is already published. It is not a document editor or a tool for building custom catalogs.
When the PDF has to contain more than text
If you work with custom post types, the plugin converts them just like a normal post. It also prints custom meta fields and is compatible with ACF and WP Bakery, so data you store outside the regular editor can appear in the document. With your own CSS you can adjust how the content looks inside the PDF.
Custom typefaces need a .ttf file installed in the plugin; choosing any font from your theme is not enough. Check in the demo how your specific layout looks, because a very complex design may not come out identical to the website.
Frequently asked questions about Wp Ultimate Pdf Generator
Can I collect the visitor's email?
Yes, with email mode: each export link opens a window where the visitor enters the address the PDF is sent to.
Does it work with WooCommerce?
Yes, it converts products to PDF and is compatible with WooCommerce HPOS.
Will it slow down my server if there are many downloads?
It can generate the PDF from cache and deliver the stored version, which reduces memory use. It is useful if your content doesn't change often, and you can schedule backups of that cache.
Can I change the header and footer?
Yes, the administrator customizes both, plus the content and font of the header.
Extras in the package that aren't the PDF
The plugin also includes Gutenberg blocks to embed external content: Google services (Forms, Slides, Sheets and Docs), Canva, Loom, Calendly, Twitch, Strava, LinkedIn and Reddit. It also lets you insert an AI chatbot trained on your own data through Chatbase, but you must create that chatbot in Chatbase. They are useful additions, not the main reason to buy: if you only want PDF, you can ignore them.
