About XStore Core
A store theme without its base plugin is only half the job
You install a WooCommerce theme, import a demo and realize it doesn't look like the preview: modules are missing, the header doesn't behave as you expected, or notices about pending plugins appear. With themes that rely on their own plugin, that is one of the first things worth checking.
XStore Core is the main plugin that goes with the XStore theme. It is not a theme or a store on its own: you install it alongside XStore and it is part of how it works.
The kind of store XStore is built to create
The XStore theme is an all-in-one solution for WooCommerce, and XStore Core is the piece that goes with it. These are the tools the theme offers, and they justify installing the complete set:

That is why the value of a store theme lies more in what happens after the click than in the home demo.

When to install XStore Core and when to look elsewhere
The decision is simple: it makes sense if you are going to use the XStore theme, and none at all if you are going to use another one. Before deciding, keep in mind:
- It doesn't work as a standalone plugin: it is designed for the XStore theme and adds nothing to a store with a different theme.
- It doesn't include products, payment gateways or hosting: WooCommerce is still what runs the store.

Can I use it without the XStore theme?
