When fixing 300 products means opening 300 screens
The default WordPress list of posts, pages or users shows very little: title, date, author. If you need to see a price, a custom field or a status, you have to open each record. And correcting the same thing across a hundred items turns into an afternoon of browser tabs. People who maintain a shop, a directory or a site with its own content types rarely lose time writing. They lose it hunting for data and repeating small changes. Admin Columns Pro reconfigures the admin tables so they show what you actually need to work.
Admin Columns Pro: the table as a worksheet
You choose which columns appear in each list, custom fields included. From there you can:
- Sort any column with one click, including custom field columns.
- Filter with different operators, and save filters to reuse them or share them with other people.
- Edit inline: change a value from the table itself, without opening the record.
- Bulk edit the same information across many items or users at once.
- Export to CSV what you have filtered and sorted, useful for reports, copies or external analysis.
- Apply conditional formatting with color rules to spot statuses or problems at a glance.
Products, users and media without touching code
In a WooCommerce shop you can show stock, price or SKU in the product list, sort them and edit them in bulk. For users, you can add data such as role or last login and filter by it. In the media library, you can preview videos, images and documents from the list itself. With your own content types, such as testimonials or listings, you build the columns with the fields that matter to you.
There are also sticky headers so you don't lose the labels as you scroll, horizontal scrolling for tables with many columns, quick post creation from the list, and bulk delete, including results spread across several pages. With that much power, it's worth fine-tuning the filter before deleting.
Custom fields and the shop come from another plugin
Admin Columns Pro is a management layer over what already exists on your site. It does not create content or new data. Here is how the work is split:
- Already solved: showing, sorting, filtering, editing and exporting the data you have, and hiding the columns and table elements you don't need.
- Covered with another plugin: creating the custom fields (there is integration with Advanced Custom Fields, Meta Box and JetEngine), building the shop (WooCommerce) or collecting data with forms (Gravity Forms). Those plugins must be installed.
- Covered by hand or by a professional: deciding which data structure your business needs. The tool organizes the information, but it doesn't tell you what information you should store.
A different view for each person on the team
You can create several sets of columns and switch between them depending on the task. Each view can be assigned to a role or to a specific user. A writer sees title, status and date; whoever runs the shop sees price and stock. If you work for clients, you hand them a cleaner admin. For technical teams, the column configuration can be saved in PHP files instead of the database, so it travels with the project code.

Does it work with Advanced Custom Fields and WooCommerce?
Yes, there is integration with both, plus Gravity Forms, JetEngine, Meta Box and Yoast SEO. Each of those plugins must be installed on your site, though.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Columns, filters and views are configured from the admin, without writing code.
Can I give an editor a different view from mine?
Yes. Each view can be assigned to a role or to a specific user.
Does the export work as a backup of the site?
No. It exports to CSV the table data as you have it filtered and sorted, useful for reports or external review, but it doesn't replace a full site backup.
