About MyD Delivery Pro

WhatsApp orders without the chaos of loose messages

Anyone selling food for delivery over WhatsApp knows the mess: one customer writes "a large with extra" with no address, another orders in the middle of the night, and the kitchen starts its shift deciphering chats. MyD Delivery Pro tidies up that flow: the customer chooses on a page of the WordPress site, and the business receives the order already formatted, with products, quantities, extras, address and total.

The customer installs no app and creates no account: they open the page, choose and order. And the owner gets everything in the app they already use every day.

A single plugin, with no WooCommerce in between

It works on its own: products, categories, delivery zones, order management and payments all live in the same plugin, with no dependency on WooCommerce or other add-ons. If you build websites for restaurants, bakeries or local shops, that means fewer pieces that can break and a setup you can repeat from one client to the next.

Products are managed from the WordPress admin, almost like creating a post. The owner changes the menu, adds categories or removes a product without calling you.

Delivery zones and business hours: orders arrive when and where they should

The plugin calculates the delivery fee based on the customer's location with four models:

  • By neighborhood
  • By zip code
  • Fixed rate
  • By distance (requires the MyD Maps add-on)

Business hours are respected too: when the shop is closed, customers can see the menu but cannot place orders. No more midnight orders that nobody is going to prepare.

A panel the kitchen understands

There is a front-end panel to view, manage and print orders, so the owner doesn't need to enter the admin. Each business chooses how it receives the order: by WhatsApp, in the panel or with automatic printing. Product variations and extras are easy to edit, and you can limit how many extras a customer picks so the order doesn't get complicated.

Distance in kilometers and status alerts need a separate add-on

The plugin covers the basics of in-house delivery, but some things sit outside the core or you will have to solve them another way:

  • Included: menu and categories, zones by neighborhood, zip code or fixed rate, business hours, order panel, printing and sending the order via WhatsApp.
  • With a separate add-on: real distance calculation depends on MyD Maps, and automatic WhatsApp alerts to the customer (confirmed, preparing, out for delivery, delivered) depend on MyD Notifications.
  • Not yet available: half-and-half pizza (two flavors charged at the price of the more expensive one) is in development.
  • For you to check: card payments connect to gateways such as Mercado Pago and Pagar.me, so verify that at least one operates in your country before promising it to a client.

Frequently asked questions about MyD Delivery Pro

Is it only for restaurants?

No. It suits any business that sells products and delivers them: bakeries, pharmacies, pet shops or grocery stores.

Do I need WooCommerce?

No, it is standalone and needs no other plugin to work.

Can the end client manage their own menu?

Yes. They add, edit and delete products and categories from the WordPress admin, with no code.

What happens if someone tries to order while the shop is closed?

They can browse the menu, but they cannot submit the order until the business opens.
