About Social Engine Pro
Publishing an article and promoting it are two different jobs
You write the article, hit publish and forget about social media until the next day, when announcing it no longer makes sense. Or you share it by hand on each network with copied and pasted text. And your site's archive, which may hold hundreds of useful articles, never shows up on any profile again. Social Engine Pro handles the promotion from inside WordPress, with no external scheduler in between.
A blog grows by accumulation, but social networks only show the latest thing you post. If you have content from years ago and only share the new, you are wasting your best material.
Your own calendar, templates and approval queue
Everything is planned on a calendar with month, week and list views, where you drag posts around and each platform has its own color. You can schedule as far ahead as you like, with no cap on posts.
Templates save you from writing the same thing every time: you write one with {title}, {excerpt}, {url}, {tags} or custom fields, and each new article reaches the queue already filled in.
- Draft mode: nothing goes out until someone approves it.
- Recycling old content: schedule older articles so they circulate again.
- Networks: X, Facebook, Instagram and Mastodon, and with Pro also LinkedIn and Pinterest.
Writing with AI and connecting Social Engine Pro to your automations
With AI Engine installed, the Post Enhancer turns a title and a link into a real post, in the article's language, and suggests hashtags. You review it before it goes out.
You can also ask Claude or ChatGPT, through the MCP server of AI Engine, to draft and queue posts in conversation. And if you already work with n8n or Make, a public API lets you trigger posts from those tools or from your own code.
Is the free version enough or do you need Pro?
The free version already schedules without limits, automatically publishes new articles and reaches X, Facebook, Instagram and Mastodon. Pro makes sense if your audience is on LinkedIn or Pinterest, if you need prior approval or if you want to reactivate the old archive.
Before deciding, consider the initial work: each network connects through your own developer app (an access token on Mastodon). Plan 15 to 30 minutes per network, just once. The AI features require AI Engine (free).
Does it depend on an external service?
No. It connects directly to the networks from your WordPress, with your own keys, and does not go through third-party servers. You still depend on the networks themselves, of course.
Can I approve posts before they go out?
Yes, with the draft mode in Pro: someone reviews and approves each pending post.
Does it work without AI?
Yes. The calendar, templates and automatic scheduling work on their own; AI is optional and needs AI Engine.
Is it good for publishing photos on Instagram?
Instagram is among the supported networks, but check in the demo how images are handled before building your workflow around it.
