About TikTok Feed PRO
Your TikTok followers are not the people entering your website
A brand posts on TikTok every week while its website looks frozen in another era: the same home page, the same photos, no sign of activity. Your followers already see your videos in the app, so they have no need for them on your site. The person who needs them is someone else: the stranger who just arrived and wants to know whether anyone is working behind it.
TikTok Feed Pro, by QuadLayers, brings your videos into WordPress and keeps them up to date automatically. Seen that way, it stops being decoration for gaining followers and becomes proof of life, with nobody having to touch the page.
The accounts, tags and layouts in play
- Unlimited accounts: add as many user accounts as you need.
- Multiple feeds on one page or across the site, each with its own layout and settings.
- Four layouts: gallery and carousel in the free version, masonry and highlight in Premium.
- Three formats: static image, animated GIF or full video.
- Popup box for opening videos, where comments, likes and username can be shown or hidden.

Premium adds the masonry and highlight layouts, the load more button and feed colour customization. Hashtag and trending feeds are also Premium only, because TikTok API limits and WordPress policy pushed them out of the free version.
If you only plan to show your account in a gallery, that distinction matters little. If you want to gather what gets posted under a campaign tag, it is exactly what decides it.
What depends on TikTok, not on you
A feed is a window onto someone else's platform. TikTok has already removed tag nodes once, and that feature moved to Premium. The connection depends on TikTok too: the account is validated with an access token, obtained by logging in to TikTok and authorizing access.
The plugin cushions this in two ways: it caches videos and their data to reduce requests and loading time, and it uses a backup caching system so the feed keeps showing even if the API has a problem.
It shows videos, it does not upload or schedule them
It is a display case. Its features include no uploading of videos to TikTok or post scheduling, nor campaign statistics or linking a video to a WooCommerce product, so do not mistake it for a shopping feed.
And it does not make up for a lack of content: a brand that posts once a year will show a feed of months-old videos.
From token to first feed
It needs WordPress 4.7 or higher and PHP 5.6 or higher, plus a TikTok account. The steps are these:
- Install the plugin and open the accounts tab.
- Connect your TikTok account and obtain the access token.
- Create the feed, choose the source and layout, and save.
- Paste the shortcode into the page or use the block in the editor.
Instagram from the same maker or with shoppable feeds
From the same maker, Instagram Feed Gallery does the same with your Instagram account, as a gallery or carousel, with masonry and highlight in Premium.
If your brand lives on Instagram and you sell through it, Instagram Feed Pro by Smash Balloon adds hashtag feeds and shoppable feeds with posts linked to your pages.

Can I show videos from a tag?
Yes, in Premium. In the free version it is no longer possible because TikTok removed those nodes.
How many accounts can I add?
There is no limit on user accounts, and you can run several different feeds.
Why are my videos not showing?
Review the feed, complete it and save it before pasting the shortcode into the post or page.
Why do two popups open when I click a video?
Other plugins, such as Fancybox or Elementor, also open linked images. Disable the modal images option in the plugin settings.
Does it update by itself?
Yes, videos and their data update automatically.
What happens if the TikTok API fails?
The backup caching system keeps the feed visible while the problem lasts.
