In B2B, whoever clicks is not whoever pays
In a normal store, the person who chooses is the one who takes out the card. In a sale to companies, that person gets split up: an employee fills the cart, a manager approves it and the company pays from a shared balance. Sometimes the order is not even placed by the customer, but by the sales rep who handles the account.
That is why a role with a discount solves less than it seems. The role fixes the price; the hard part is the chain of people behind each order.
Wholesale for WooCommerce, by WPExperts, covers both parts inside an existing WooCommerce store, so you can sell to businesses and to consumers on the same site.
Companies, buyers and sales agents
- Company account with shared wholesale pricing and a pooled credit balance that its members buy from.
- Owner, Manager and Member roles, each with its own credit limit.
- Order approval: the Owner approves or rejects Manager and Member orders; the Manager, Member orders if the admin enables it.
- Restrictions by product and category, credit transaction logs and cart sharing among company users.
- Sales agents who manage their accounts, place orders on the customer's behalf and earn commission.
Pricing, catalog and quotes
- Role-based prices at global, category or product level, with fixed or percentage discounts, for simple and variable products.
- Quantity tiers, minimum rules by quantity and subtotal, and step quantities.
- Private store: hides products, prices or Add to Cart buttons by guest, role, product or category.
- Wholesale registration with extra fields, Tax ID, file upload, manual or automatic approval and reCAPTCHA v2 and v3.
- Tax, shipping and payments by role, including exemptions and tax classes.
- Built-in Request a Quote, with price negotiation, PDFs and conversion to an order.
- Order table with search and filters, and saved purchase lists for repeat orders.
It also includes an AI assistant to manage settings, prices, roles and registrations in natural language. It has three permission modes (suggest only, apply after approval and auto apply) and a change history with rollback within a set window.
What needs separate pieces
Wholesale subscriptions and recurring orders depend on WooCommerce Subscriptions, which is not included.
The AI assistant runs on your own API key from Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini, so its usage is on your account with that provider.
Paying by invoice for verified buyers is a different product, B2B Invoice Payment Method, compatible with this plugin, but not one of its features.
From the first wholesale role to company credit
It asks for WordPress 5.6 or higher and WooCommerce 5.0 or higher. It is compatible with the cart and checkout blocks and with high-performance order storage (HPOS).
A sensible order:
- Create the wholesale roles and a default one for new registrations.
- Set prices and minimums, first at global level and then the exceptions.
- Configure the registration form and decide whether approval is manual or automatic.
- Hide what the public should not see and test with a retail account.
- Set up company credit and agents only if you will use them.

Yes. It is designed for hybrid businesses, with different prices and visibility by role.
Can an order require approval?
Yes. You can require Owner or Manager review before company credit orders are finalized.
Do I need another extension for quotes?
No. Request a Quote is built in.
Does the AI assistant change things on its own?
Only if you choose that mode. It can also stick to suggesting or wait for your approval, and each ability is enabled separately.
