An animated section ages when its content was typed by hand

You put real work into a section with cards that enter on scroll, text that appears word by word and a parallax background. It looks great. Later you change the featured products and discover that each card holds data copied by hand, so updating the page means redoing a good part of the work.

Motion and data are usually solved separately, and that is where heavy maintenance begins. Design Pack brings together two add-ons for Greenshift in the block editor: Animation Addon, for GSAP effects without writing code, and Query Addon, for listings and dynamic blocks. It helps to see them as two halves: one handles how the page moves and the other handles what content it shows.

Animation Addon: timelines and GSAP effects

• On-scroll animations, parallax, reveals and mouse effects.
• SVG: drawing, morphing and path animation.
• Multiple chains and timelines.
• Text animated word by word or line by line.
• Lottie loading through a smart loader, plus DotLottie and Rive blocks.
• Scroll blocks: PinScroll, horizontal scroll and Video Scroll.
• Other blocks and features: page navigation, parallax background, a dynamic 3D block and Lenis smooth scrolling.

Animations are based on GSAP and light CSS transitions. With those pieces you can go far without programming, but timelines ask you to think about order and duration, as in any animation tool.

Query Addon: listings that read your data

• Advanced listing builder, with WooCommerce support.
• Additional patterns for the Query block.
• Meta reading from custom fields.
• ACF dynamic fields, including repeatable tables.
• Thumbs and hot counters.
• Filter block, with WooCommerce price and stock filters.

Moving real content instead of fixed cards

Query Builder is for designing loops of content types and carousels. If your cards come from there, a new product or post can enter the listing without copying anything by hand. One possible recipe is applying Animation Addon effects to those dynamic sections. It is your own combination, so test it on your specific page, with the number of items you plan to publish, and check it on mobile too.

Meant for people already working in blocks

Greenshift is a builder for Gutenberg, compatible with Full Site Editing. If your pages live in another visual builder, adopting this pack means changing method. It also does not turn anyone into an animator: it avoids code, but decisions about rhythm and measure are still yours.

Keep in mind too that each effect adds work for the browser. Greenshift does not load on the page what you do not use there, but what you do use counts. It is worth measuring speed after each animated section.

Installation on top of Greenshift and nearby options

Both add-ons extend the Greenshift plugin, which goes in first. From there:

1. Install and activate Greenshift.
2. Add Animation Addon and Query Addon to the same site.
3. Create a test page with a simple animated block.
4. Build a listing with Query Builder using your own content.
5. If you use ACF, connect one field first and check that it displays.
6. Apply the animation and review the result on mobile.

The base Greenshift plugin already brings more than 50 blocks and supports custom animations; start with it if your needs are modest. If what you want is content front pages in the block editor, PostX Pro focuses on post blocks, with a query builder and filters without reloading.
