A Hub demo is not a set of pages: it is the configuration of the whole site
With more than one hundred pre-built websites, more than a thousand section templates and more than one hundred inner pages, the temptation is natural: the front page of one demo, the services page of another and the shop of a third. It looks like a catalogue of loose parts.
It is not. Importing a Hub demo with Elementor overwrites the theme settings and the Elementor Site Kit, which is where colours, typography and global styles live. If you import several, the settings of the last one apply to the whole site, and the pages you brought from the earlier ones may look different from how they looked in their demo.
In practice, a demo is chosen to be kept whole, and whatever you like from others is taken from the section library and adapted to the style you already set.
A hundred websites, a thousand sections and a header builder

How to choose the demo you will keep
Choose by header and typography, not by front page. The front page can be rebuilt in an afternoon with sections from the library. The global styles the demo brings are the ones that will rule the whole site.
Check whether it is a shop demo. E-commerce demos ask for WooCommerce. If you are not going to sell, a demo without a shop saves you that plugin.
Import only what you need. When importing you choose what to bring: content, media or theme options. Ticking only what is needed avoids filling the library with placeholder images.
If you get it wrong, do not import another on top. To undo a demo you have to reset the site and start again, not layer a second one over it.
What Hub does not solve, and what cannot be mixed
It does not keep your styles when importing. Your existing content is not overwritten, but the theme settings and the Site Kit are. On a site with its own design already in place, importing a demo means starting the styling from scratch.
There are two Hubs, not one. The theme has separate documentation for Elementor and for WPBakery, and the builder is chosen in the wizard. What is said about the Site Kit applies to the Elementor version.
Its stated compatibility stops at WooCommerce 8. If your shop runs a later version, test it first on a copy. And bookings, a client area or invoicing are not among its features: it is a design and layout theme.
Installing Hub with its wizard
Hub is compatible with WordPress from version 4.9 up to 7.0, with Elementor and Elementor Pro, with WooCommerce 5 to 8 and with WPML. How long the import takes depends on the server's specifications.
- Install Hub and its child theme, which keeps your customisations safe from updates.
- Activating the theme starts the setup wizard: leave the essential plugins preselected and choose your builder.
- From Liquid, Setup Wizard, import a single demo, ticking only the boxes you need.
- Set colours and typography in the Site Kit before touching individual pages.

Hub is compatible with Elementor Pro. And if you already use Hub, Slider Revolution is the slider it includes.
Questions before importing a Hub demo
Can I combine pages from several demos?
You can import more than one, but the settings and Site Kit of the last one apply to the whole site, so earlier pages change their look.
Does importing delete my content?
Your existing content is not overwritten, but the theme settings and the Elementor Site Kit are.
Does it work with WPBakery?
There is a documented version for WPBakery as well as the Elementor one. The builder is chosen during installation.
Does it include Slider Revolution?
Yes, it comes included.
Does it come with a child theme?
Yes, to keep your customisations safe.
How do I undo a demo?
By resetting the site. Importing another one on top does not undo it.
