About PixelYourSite Pro

Your pixel is probably measuring wrong right now

It is more common than it looks and almost nobody checks. The pixel was installed two years ago by pasting code into the theme, then another one got added from a plugin, and ever since every purchase gets counted twice. Or worse: it gets counted without the value, so the platform knows there was a sale but not how large, and optimises blind.

The classic symptom is having three different numbers for the same week: one in WooCommerce, another in the ads dashboard and another in analytics. When that happens, advertising spend decisions are being made on figures that do not agree.

PixelYourSite Pro exists to fix that: it installs and coordinates every platform's tags from one place, with well-formed commerce events and no duplication.

What it does

  • Manages several platforms' tags from one panel, without touching theme code.
  • Sends complete commerce events: product viewed, added to cart, purchase, with the value and the order contents.
  • Prevents double counting through event identifiers, which is what throws reports out.
  • Pushes events into the Google Tag Manager data layer, with nothing to write.
  • Supports consent mode and integrates with the usual consent platforms.
  • Supports server-side sending to recover conversions the browser loses.

The detail that decides the purchase: the add-ons are separate

Worth knowing beforehand rather than at the checkout. The professional licence covers Meta, Google Analytics 4 and the Tag Manager integration, which is what most shops need.

But TikTok, Pinterest and Bing are separately paid add-ons. If your advertising spend is spread across four or five platforms, the real cost is not the base licence, and that is where it pays to compare with the alternative before deciding.

The practical rule: if you advertise mainly on Meta and Google, this is the natural option and the sector's most experienced. If your mix includes several more platforms, do the arithmetic with the add-ons included and compare.

Requirements

It needs WordPress, and WooCommerce if you want the commerce events, which are the main reason to install it. Server-side sending also requires credentials for each platform.

How to start

One. Remove any pixels already placed by hand in the theme, in header snippets or in other plugins. Leaving them is the number one cause of double counting.

Two. Make a real test purchase and check the value arrives correctly at each platform. The event arriving is not enough.

Three. Configure consent before opening it up. Measuring somebody who said no is a legal problem, not an oversight.

Four. Compare a week of WooCommerce sales with what each dashboard says. If they differ by more than a reasonable margin, something is still misconfigured.

Alternatives in the catalogue

The direct comparison is Pixel Manager for WooCommerce, whose paid version includes as standard the platforms that here come as add-ons. Worth doing both sums with your specific advertising mix, because depending on the case either one wins.

From the same maker there are two more pieces, not to be confused with the above: Super Pack bundles five add-ons focused on the Meta pixel (several pixels at once, dynamic event parameters, thank you pages), not the ad platforms. And Smart OpenGraph handles how your content looks when shared.

The other half of the matter is consent, and without it none of the rest stands up legally: ConsentMagic integrates directly with this plugin, and GDPR Cookie Consent is the general option.

And watch out for a frequent confusion: this sends data to the platforms, it does not show it to you. If what you want is analytics reports inside WordPress, that is MonsterInsights, which does the opposite job.

Frequently asked questions

Is it still Facebook only?
No. Today it manages Meta, Google Analytics 4, Tag Manager and other platforms through add-ons.

Are all the platforms included?
No. TikTok, Pinterest and Bing come as paid add-ons separate from the professional licence.

Does it stop the same purchase being counted twice?
Yes, with event identifiers, which is the piece that fixes mismatched reports.

Do the old pixels need removing?
Yes, and it is the first thing to do. Leaving them in place duplicates everything.

Does it handle consent?
It supports consent mode and integrates with the usual platforms, but the cookie manager is separate.

Does it show reports inside WordPress?
No. Its job is sending the data correctly; viewing it is another plugin's job.
