About Quform - WordPress Form Builder
A simple contact form can be built anywhere. The trouble starts when you need a quote with fields that appear depending on what the customer picks, a booking request with attachments, or a long application nobody wants to see on a single screen. That is where many plugins force you to touch code or pay for separate extensions.
Quform and the form that gets filled in piece by piece
Most long forms are abandoned for one reason: the visitor sees twenty fields at once and closes the tab. Quform lets you split a form into several pages and show or hide fields based on earlier answers, so each person only sees what applies to them. It is built for anyone who receives complex requests (quotes, bookings) and needs them to arrive complete.
Builder, elements and limits worth knowing
You build by dragging elements, with a preview while you work. It includes 19 element types, among them:
- Text, textarea, email, name and password
- Select menu, multi-select, checkboxes and radio buttons
- Date, time and file upload
- Hidden fields, HTML, groups and column layouts
Uploaded files can be sent as attachments, saved to the server or both. Field values can be filled from the URL, which is handy if you link from a campaign to an already customized form. Notifications support unlimited emails from a single submission, recipients based on form values, conditional logic and attachments.
There are limits you should keep in mind: it is a form builder, not a calendar-based booking system or a payment manager. With it you collect the booking request, but you manage availability yourself. To connect with other applications it relies on a free Zapier add-on, and for multilingual forms you need WPML. Exports and filters do not replace a CRM.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to know HTML or PHP?
No. Everything is done with drag and drop and configuration options. If you know CSS, you can add device-targeted styles and custom classes to each element.
Can I see the responses without leaving WordPress?
Yes. Entries can be viewed and edited in the admin, labeled, trashed and exported to .xls, .xlsx, .csv, .ods or .html. You can also save the data to a custom database table.
What spam protection does it offer?
Five options: honeypot, image captcha, reCAPTCHA (v2 checkbox, v2 invisible and v3), hCaptcha and Cloudflare Turnstile. There is also CSRF protection.
Can a form be scheduled or limited?
Yes: you can limit the number of entries and schedule when the form is active, which is useful for sign-ups or promotions with a closing date.
Eleven themes and a system to dress each form
Design is controlled with its own theming system: it includes 11 themes, one of them Bootstrap-based, and you can create your own. You adjust colors with a picker, element sizes, 11 button styles, 3 label layouts, animations and loaders. It includes FontAwesome, a file drop zone, Select2 for menus and qTip2 tooltips. Checkboxes and radios accept background images or icons, useful for quotes where the customer chooses visually.
Moving forms between sites is already solved
If you work for several clients, importing and exporting forms between sites saves you from rebuilding them. Start with a simple form, test it with a real submission to your email and check that the notification reaches your main inbox and not spam. Then add pages, conditional logic and recipients. If you use pop-ups, Fancybox and Magnific Popup are supported.
