Technum is a theme built for IT companies, startups, consultancies, digital agencies and software developers.
Six home pages to try different approaches
Technum includes up to six home pages that differ from one another. That is useful because an IT consultancy and a creative agency don't tell the same story on their front page. You can choose the one closest to your business and work from there, instead of starting from a blank page.
Technum features and their limits
- Elementor as the editor: you work in a visual editor, dragging elements, without writing code. The blocks you see in the demo depend on what Elementor offers, so check in the demo which elements are in the free version and which require the paid one.
- Demo import: you can load the sample content with one click and then replace texts and images with your own.
- Responsive and Retina design: the site adapts to phones, tablets and high-density screens, and you can upload a logo as an image or as text.
- WooCommerce: compatible for selling services or digital products with a cart. You need to install WooCommerce separately; the theme doesn't include the store on its own.
- Contact Form 7: there is support for this form plugin, which you also have to install separately.
- Colors and code: unlimited colors, clean HTML5 and CSS3 code, and a basic child theme included for anyone who wants to customize in depth without touching the original.
- Other extras: translation-ready and multilingual, multisite ready, a custom-designed 404 page and a tool for sharing on social networks.
Technum is an appearance template: it doesn't write your service descriptions, it doesn't replace a content strategy and it doesn't add features such as a client portal or a ticket system on its own. For those you will need specific plugins.
Questions people ask when comparing themes for IT
Is it suitable for a digital agency or only for IT companies?
It works for both: it is designed for IT services, startups, consulting, marketing, development and engineering, as well as digital agencies.
Do I need to know how to code?
Not to build the site: the editor is visual. If you want deep changes, the clean code and the child theme make it easier, but that does require some knowledge.
Can I sell services online?
Yes, with WooCommerce installed. Charging for a one-off service is straightforward; a subscription or booking system would need additional plugins.
Does it work with SEO plugins?
It is SEO-ready and compatible with plugins such as Yoast. Rankings still depend on your content, though.
Demo content is imported before you edit anything
The easiest approach is to import the demo closest to your idea and then replace its content. Before deciding, review all six home pages in the live demo and see how they look on mobile. Have your logo, your service texts and the plugins you plan to use (forms, store) at hand so you don't improvise along the way. If you plan to modify the code, create the included child theme from the start.
