About WP Simple Pay Pro Plugin
Taking payments online with Stripe often ends in one of two extremes: building a whole store with a cart just to sell one service, or pasting a payment button that sends the customer off your site and loses them along the way. WP Simple Pay Pro aims for the middle ground: payment forms inside your own site, with no cart and no code.
Charging without running a store
People who install this rarely have a catalog: they have a fee, a service with a fixed price, a donation or a deposit. Their problem is not showing products, it is keeping the payment short and not changing pages at the worst moment. A cart is unnecessary here: every extra step is a chance for the customer to give up.
The plugin connects to your Stripe account and starts from ready-made form templates. Payment happens on your site, and card data is processed and stored by Stripe, not your server. The forms keep working on fully cached pages (WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, WP Super Cache or host-level caching) without you setting up exclusions.
What each type of charge gets out of it
If you sell a service or a fixed fee
You build the form with the drag and drop builder and add the fields you need: text, dropdowns, checkboxes, file uploads. That way you collect the job details and the payment in the same step. With conditional logic, a field appears or hides depending on what the customer chooses, with one or several rules.
If you charge by subscription
You can activate daily, weekly, monthly, yearly or custom billing cycles that charge automatically, so you don't chase payments every period. The customer can choose to pay on a recurring basis when submitting the form.
If you receive donations
The option to repeat the payment suits organizations that want regular donors. If your organization handles donor data, review which fields you ask for and why.
If your customer pays from mobile or outside the US
It accepts more than fifteen payment methods: card, SEPA Direct Debit, US bank accounts, Klarna and Afterpay / Clearpay for interest-free installments, among others. Actual availability of each method depends on your Stripe account and your country, so check it in your Stripe dashboard.
Design, payment pages and control of charges
- Form styling: theme presets, colors, typography and rounded corners, with a live preview.
- Dedicated payment pages: distraction-free pages that don't require creating a new page in WordPress.
- Taxes: automatic calculation based on the customer's location or with fixed rates.
- Management from WordPress: you see payments and subscriptions in your dashboard, search them, export them to CSV and issue refunds without opening Stripe.
- Security: compatible with Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) and with Stripe's fraud protection.
Questions before buying WP Simple Pay Pro
Do I need a Stripe account?
Yes. All payments go through Stripe, and the account is linked with Stripe Connect.
Is it good for selling lots of products?
It isn't designed for that. It works without a cart, so it is for direct charges: a service, a fee, a donation. If you need a catalog, stock or shipping, look at a full store.
Can I offer coupons?
Yes, there are discount codes for payments.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. The form, the fields and the conditional logic are built without code.
Stripe only, with no cart or catalog
It is not a multipurpose gateway: it doesn't support payment platforms other than Stripe, and it doesn't manage inventory or shipping. Fees and the conditions of each method are set by Stripe, not by the plugin.
