About Chemlabs – Laboratory & Science Research WordPress Theme
Your lab has two customers, and they do not read the same site
A patient arrives with a test order in hand and three doubts: whether she has to fast, where the center is and when she will get the result. A physician comes for another reason: she wants to know which tests you can process, how to open an account and where to check what she sent. If both land on the same generic home page, each has to discard what was meant for the other.
In a laboratory, the person who pays, the person who orders the test and the person who receives it are often different people, and a site written for an abstract audience leaves all of them halfway. Chemlabs, by CMSSuperHeroes, splits that journey from the home page: its demo opens with one card for the healthcare provider and another for the patient.
The two doors of Chemlabs and what sits behind them
- Four home pages in the demo: Main, Modern, Classic and Supplies, the last one geared to the shop.
- Sample test catalog with six categories, from general diagnostics to genetic and hormone testing.
- Provider pages: their own registration and login, separate from patient login.
- Patient pages: email and password login, test preparation and links to check results.
- Research and jobs: research views in grid and modern formats, plus a careers section.
- Supplies shop with product, cart, checkout and account.
Elementor, parallax and starting from sample data
The theme works with Elementor and includes Revolution Slider, a core plugin for Elementor and styling for Contact Form 7. The layout can be boxed or full width, sitewide or per page, with unlimited sidebars, also per page or post. It brings parallax image and video sections, a child theme and sample data.
It supports right-to-left writing, and the demo includes an Arabic version.
The visit form, the map and the results have a clear limit
The visit form collects a request. It asks for name, email, phone, date and time, and lets people pick a service and location, but it does not show open slots. Someone on your team has to confirm each visit.
Finding a lab is a list. In the demo, the page groups cities by area, with no search box, interactive map or filters.
Results: test the full circuit. The theme brings a result check by user, and the demo links lead to the login page. Its features do not include a connection to a laboratory information system, so publishing real results would be separate work.
What the server needs and the install order
The server should offer at least 256 MB of memory, 64 MB of upload size, 300 seconds of execution and a minimum max_input_vars of 4000, with 6000 as the recommended value. With that ready, these are the steps:
- Upload and activate the theme, and add the child theme if you will change files.
- Install the required plugins with the Install & Active button before importing anything.
- Import the demo. If an image is missing on the public side, check the Elementor tools.
- Replace the sample catalog with your real tests.
Laboratory and health themes to compare
If your center lives on running tests for third parties, compare with Medico. If your work is research and not patient care, Marity has five home pages designed for a research center.
If the project looks more like a clinic with a medical team, Medicate also comes ready for right-to-left writing. And for appointments with real schedules, look at a booking plugin such as Bookly Pro.
Visits, results, shop and Arabic in Chemlabs
Can patients book a specific time?
They can state a date and time in a form, without seeing availability. Real schedules need a booking plugin.
Does it work for delivering clinical results?
It includes patient login and a check by user, but its features do not include a link to a laboratory system. Test it with fictitious data before deciding.
Does it work for selling kits or supplies?
The demo includes a shop with cart and checkout, plus a home page dedicated to supplies.
Do I need to touch code?
Not for pages, which are edited with Elementor. Renaming a content type does require changing files in the theme's inc/custom-post folder.
