About Breakdance Pro
A builder aimed at people who build sites for clients
Visual builders usually optimise for the user making their own website. Breakdance is clearly aimed at a different profile: the professional building sites for other people, who has different problems. They do not need more pretty templates, they need to deliver quickly, to let the client edit without breaking anything, and for the site to still be maintainable in two years.
Hence its three most recognisable decisions: client mode, element studio, and live code editing.
What it ships to build with
145 built-in elements, a global styles system to keep branding consistent across the site, a header and menu builder with sticky and overlay options, and a popup creator.
Dynamic content
This is where it separates from an ordinary page builder:
- Post and term loops, to list content instead of placing it by hand.
- Repeater fields.
- Conditional visibility on any element based on data.
- Search and filtering.
- Access to the WordPress database for handling dynamic data.
With that you build directories, catalogues and portfolios that update themselves as content is added, instead of editing the page every time.
WooCommerce
Custom templates for the product page, a shop catalogue builder, filter elements, and cart and checkout customisation. In other words, the full buying journey inside the same builder.
Forms
A multi-step form builder with conditional field logic, and integration with email and CRM services. One less plugin to install.
